I have just fitted my SSG with a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, the barrel came from Benchmarks UK importer so it is a Benchmark blank and adapter but chambered in the UK. The barrel is sweet just under 1/4 MOA but I'm having feed problems the rounds are catching on the feed ramp with factory rounds and home loads using 144 Berger hybrids and 139 Lapua Scenars . I have checked the barrel against the original SIG 308 fitting and they appear identical in every way, so I'm guessing it's the way the mag is presenting the 6.5 round. Anyone here had a similar probelm ?

These are a mid length / almost a long action they run great with the 6.5X55 so any bullet in the Creed should be well within the feeding capabilities of this action. But if your loading them really short you may be getting some weird geometry. Are you seating based on the chamber? If your seating short try running them long if the chamber is throated long enough.
