Looking to pick up a Remington SPS stainless in 243 and put it in a B&C stock but am unsure how it will look with the barrel channel sized for heavy barrels. Anyone have a picture of a standard diameter barrel in a B&C stock?

If your picking up the medalist varmint/tactical, then it will be fine.

You'll definitely want to skim bed the action to the stock though.

Also invest in a wooden dowel and a few grades of sandpaper from medium to fine. You can use that setup to help tweak the barrel channel a little bit if you find some rough spots.

what are you calling a "standard" diameter barrel.

If by standard diameter barrel you mean stock factory barrel you'll be fine but if its anything like my choate tactical it will look kind of funny. Mine reminds me of the snoop dog super bowl video he shot a few years back where he was wearing NFL size pads and those skinny ass arms hanging out of them, ie doesn't quite look right.
