I ordered a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .243 with an extra extended magazine on Saturday.
It came down to a Rem 700 SPS SS or the Tikka T3. The Tikka won out with how absolutely smooth and positive the action felt compared to the Remington and the weight difference.
The rifled just fit when i drew it up and kept gravitating back to it. It will be my first Tikka so hopefully its as good as everyone makes it out to be.
In the mean time i'm starting the list of things to be done.
I'm having a hard time finding a large bolt knob, does anyone have a source for one?
A Manners stock, EGW base and a few other goodies are in the works.
I can post pictures when I have the rifle in hand.

I also picked up some brass and dies to reload for the .243.
