Starting my first precision build

I bought a Rem 700 long action receiver. My dealer has it, but I need to get a new DL to finish the transfer because I recently moved.

I also bought a Knight's M110 can. Once I have the suppressor, I'm sending it and the action off to High Caliber Sales for the build.

- 24" Lilja barrel in .300 Win Mag w/ a Knight's M110 flash hider and suppressor will be mated for minimal POI shift.
- FDE AICS 2.0
- Badger 30 MOA base

Undecided on an optic. Though I'll probably go for the S&B 3-20x when it come out or the S&B 5-25 w/ mil turrets and a P4F reticle.

Probably going to send the receiver off for a side bolt release and the bolt for a Kampfield Custom knob and a high helix fluting.

Damn, that sounds cool to me but that thing is gonna be so long you could just slap the target with it.

No body can deny, that thing will be a slayer.

bump for this build, building a 300 as soon as i find an action myself, what twist you gunna use on the lija?

Yeah..I will be a little long with the suppressor attached. But not as long as some. That is why I wanted the barrel at 24" and not 26.5", which is what is standard for this build.

That 1 in 10 twist will give you a good range of bullet choices.
