As the title states looking for a starting point/max with reloader 16 in 6.5x47 with 140 eldm but any data with any bullet would help. Thanks for your help.

I ended up settling on 42 gr in my .260 using 140 ELD-M's but tested up to 43 without any pressure signs. I started at 38.5. Not exactly the same but hope it helps.
i have tested it in my 6.5cm @41.8 gr 2840 fps and 260 @41.0 2800fps. case capacity is definetely lower in the 6.5x47. to be on the safe side i think i am going to start around 36, with high node around 39-40 gr.
Somebody on another site just tested this. Was slow as hell at 36-38. Said he should have started at 40 like I said.
