So I have been listening to The Everyday Sniper and Frank went over the differences in all of these pressure values. However, I had a hard time following some of it.

I have a couple of questions;

When should I use “pressure is absolute”?

Would it be easiest to just use Station Pressure?

Can density altitude be used in AB?

When using a Kestrel, which do I use?

Sorry for the elementary questions here.

Station Pressure is Absolute, it just depends on how your software words it.

Barometric pressure is corrected, you need the altitude

Station Pressure includes the altitude

When using the kestrel you leave it at factory settings and the reality is, it pulls the information without you if you use an AB version. Otherwise you use Station Pressure.

Barometric Pressure is what the weatherman uses, you are not a weatherman

Thanks Frank! Appreciate the response! Keep up the good work man.
