Been thinking of shooting the Steel Safari this year any recommendations do's/dont's equipment lists for someone who has never shot one of the these style matches?

It might be a little easier if you want to call or text me - feel free to drop me a PM if so.

Useful items
1) LRF / Bino combination unit
2) Grease marker on a dry erase or something similar so that you can easily write down the distances
3) Tripod makes life pretty easy so you can mount the binos and range / locate targets quickly
4) Real data cards since they're much faster than Kestrel or equivalent
5) A suppressor is a nice luxury

Useless items
1) Weight can kill

nice setup there , AI`s are impressive rifles and all came from the mind of a guy in his garden shed to what it is today , one of THE MOST OUTSTANDING sniper rifle systems you can get your mitts on .
Like the optics also .
