New Contest Starting Now! This Target Haunts Me
Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
Get some 3/4" AR500 from JC Targets or Big Dog Steel. The 3/4" will last a while, even at 100 yards. And both those vendors are hide sponsors and a pleasure to do business with.
thanks for the info They will mainly only be used at distances of 300+ so they should last just didn't wanna waste money on a target thats gonna break with less than a box of 7mm hitting it.
If your sticking with small targets at 300+ 3/8" AR500 is plenty and you will get more reaction and it will be more audible then the 1/2"-3/4".
+1 on JC and Big Dog I have both and both produce very high quality steel targets for the money.
WMB, all of those rifles, at 300 yards or so, your will be good with 1/2" AR500. That is all you will need. The 1/2" Premium AR500 will likely last longer than you or I.
If we can help, Let us know. thanks for all the kind words guys
My local club has some of the JC targets hanging from 300 yards and out all are 3/8 inch plates. They have been up for couple years now and not a dint in them. Club has 400 members and stays fairly busy, I bet those plates stopped more lead in two years than an average gun owner can shoot in 20.
