i've had this scope for a while, decided to put it on my "precision" AR, my 100 yd zero is hitting an inch or so high, so i was going to adjust the turret but was reading the instruction and it seems to be indicating that there is no way to adjust it downwards, like the zero stop is set at the factory and can't be moved? i am used to nightforce scopes which are super easy to adjust so this doesn't make much sense to me

anyone happen to be an expert on these scopes.

i guess i could do a 200 yd zero but i want a 100 yd zero dammit!

i did call steiner usa yesterday in the morning, was #19 in the phone queu for tech help, did the whole "leave your number and you won't loose your place in the queu" thing. never heard back of course. not sure about steiners customer service any more but anyway, that is why i am posting.

If I'm understanding your post, there is nothing wrong with your Steiner.

All you need to do is loosen your elevation turret set screws, and move the turret to say, 1.5 mils and tighten your set screws back down. Now you have 1.5 mils of down adjustment. Sight in your rifle, and loosen your elevation turret again and set it to zero.
