Rifle Scopes Steiner M7Xi questions

Anyone have experience with M7Xi series riflescope?

I peeled the prop 65 warning and underneath were the numbers 7273249. No clue what those numbers are or why they would be covered by another sticker.

been running mine for the last year , very happy

FWIW, I was all set to purchase one, but checked in with a friend who does T&E in a .mil context - he said they'd seen issues with the diopters enough to strongly warn me off them.

can't say I've seen that issue , have only read positive things regarding the m7xi series. When was this ? first release ? The only issue I had was grease splatter on the reticle. Beretta / Steiner replaced my scope no issue and this M7xi has less CA then the one I had.

Thanks for choosing Steiner! The sticker you are referencing is the RFID sticker we scan before the other label/sticker goes on.

As for issues with diopters, I haven't personally heard anything about that. However as always if anyone thinks they need a scope checked out we are happy to do it. Here is a link for that: https://steiner.supportsync.com/

I have zero issues with mine. Comparing it to my USO FDN and Maven RS.4, it's incredibly clear at distance. I wish they'd put the Tremor5 in it.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't go around looking at everything I buy and wondering about random number strings that I found since they have no bearing on the use or quality of the product.

Everyone's eyes prefer a specific kind of glass and interprets the light differently. Once you get past $3k for a scope the differences aren't night and day and it's all about what you prefer. But the steiner warranty gives comfort to some that no matter what happens they will always be taken care of. When doing a blind test everyone I've ever met has always chose my Steiner over my Hensoldt. The early M7Xi did have issues.
