I am looking at options for scope protection for the Steiner 3 x 15 x 50 military model. Love the scope at first go; glass is clear and turrets feel great; need to get it mounted to run it through the paces. Kudos to Scott at Liberty Optics for providing great service and being quite patient with ongoing questions.
The scope comes with Butler Creek Flip Ups and I have not had good experiences in the past with those caps. Tried the Nightforce bikini cover; fits the 50 mm objective fine but the Steiner eyepiece is too large for the Nightforce eyepiece cap.
Does anyone know of any other options or if Tenebraex makes a flip up cap(s) that would fit the Steiner? Any input/suggestions are appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
