I just noticed a Steyr SSG 04 with 20" bbl in a local gunstore for $2020. It was a very light and handy rifle with adjustable stock. However, I can't find any reviews/feedback on this rifle.
Is it worth the money compared to a Rem700 or Savage 10FP?
Thanks.

Re: Steyr SSG 04 feedback

Well your standard 10FP/M700 series models start at just under a grand...thats with an H/S Precision stock or the Police model of the M700. The Steyr one is really a name, and if the ergonomics are right they basically shoot the same...spoke to a store owner the other day who had a demo model on the rack and he says if you have a halfway decent Savage or M700 your good to go.
