Welcome to the hide.
Steyr don't have a bipod for the SSG 69, you have to go aftermarket. I am assuming you have the PII model with the rail underneath? I've tried the versa-pod but it kept working it's way loose and had to keep tightening the stud. Put the harris on and no problems.
Go for the Harris swivel and get the pod lock.

you can also contact kasey at accu shot and he has a rail that slides into the rail and then you can use an Atlus Bipod on it it is a better bipod than the harris.
