What's invloved here? I understand a slot needs to be milled for the recoil lug. Will this coincide with a solid part of the action, or the tubing portion? Will the larger OD on the action itself require any additional milling?
Also, I spoke with Stiller regarding the new CIP mag chassis. They weren't sure on the measurements on the CIP and how they might fit up with their mag port. If anybody's got some inside info on the dimensions, or how it might fit up, please chime in.
I've got an action on the way, and am considering stock options.

Going to re-birth this thread, CW did you get a result fitting a CIP mag to the stiller action??

The TAC 338 can be made to fit in the AICS. I built one in a 2.0 early this year. The new recoil lug position requires some milling and an aluminum filler block fastened in behind it. The skins need to be relived at the top for the larger diameter action. Jerry Stiller can explain how to do it. Here is the one I did.

Thank you for the feedback gentlemen.
And Thunderbolt, sorry for being such a stubborn dolt. I just noticed you answered that question on multiple threads, lol.
Looks like a lot of the aftermarket receivers are not fitting the AICS AX chassis. Its a damn shame.
