Looking for recommendations on having a stock coated. Its a black Boyds Tacticool and I'd like to have it coated in something like a dark urban camo like this

I have seen vids of people doing their own and I am typically a DYI kinds guy but for this one I just wanna see if there's anyone who does this all the time that can take care of it for me. Any vendor or member recommendations would be appreciated.

I would use a air dry paint, Duracoat works well. I use a lot of gun paints forfiberglass stocks, mainly Cerakote, the main problem is it needs to be baked on and even at the low temp (150 for 2 hrs) may be too much for the soft wood. You could also do a Krylon and go over it with a clear, it will not last nearly as long as the Duracoat.

I use mostly Duracoat on my stocks as the color selection is a vast one. I recently did my CZ 455 build in a urban/ navy digital using Duracoat.

It's actually pretty easy work, though the prep work sucks.
