i just purchased a new remington 5R milspec in .308. the rifle comes with an HS Precision stock on it as most of you already know. are these good stocks? this is going to be my first precision rifle project and i was wondering if i should plan on replacing this stock or would this one be just fine? i have already purchased a leupold mk4 for it so i am not really looking to spend more money on something that is not needed. anything that i could do to this stock to improve on it? thanks.

If it fits you and you can get comfortable with it, run it. I'd say get it bedded and tune or replace the trigger and get time behind it. Also Order a stock pack from www.triadtactical.com
