Has anyone found a decent how-to on how to do spiderweb finishes using Duracoat or anything else? I called Duracoat and got the scoop on using airplane glue, but I am not having much luck at getting it to flow right and look right using an air brush.

The way we used to do it on boats was use unthinned realy thick paint in a pressure pot with no air at the gun tip just pressur forcing paint out. comes out in strings. Dont know if you can do it with airbrush

I bought a can of white krylon webbing paint on ebay and some good krylon clear coat. Its actually easy once you practice for a minute. All i did was clean my stock real well and supported it in the air with a broom handle and some tie wire. Where i could rotate the stock. When i was painting i kept the can about 2 feet from the stock and kind of made a punching motion when painting and the webbing falls right onto the stock.

Did mine last weekend with od green camo krylon and black webbing paint. 2 coats of green, let dry then sparay on the webbing, let dry then 3 coats of clear. I was dark and cooling down by the time I finished so I rotated it above my gas fire place for a couple hours to let the paint cure. 15 minutes and flip for about 2 hours. I dried hard and hell and looks great.
