I ordered a B&C Medalists Stock back about mid Feb 2/21. I called after I placed the order and they told me it may be up to a 12 week backorder. Not a big deal as I can live with that. I paid $207 at the time through their checkout system. I just got an E-mail from Kim and she told me that if I wanted the stock that I ordered that I needed to pay another $28. The stock has not even been ordered because of this pricing glitch as she called it in their system so it may even be longer. The "glitch" she said defaulted to a Black stock instead of the color I wanted. So their "glitch" is supposed to cost me more $$ and the extra time. My first experience with Stockys is likely to be my last.

Thats what I told them. Its their glitch so the price difference is their problem not mine. I told them I would like to go ahead with the order at the price I paid and if they can't make that happen then cancel the order and refund my money.

I had really good luck with those guys ask to talk with the owner and relize you are cutting it close on profit margin with a B&C stock they are pretty good mid priced stocks you may be asking for more than they can give he makes about 10.00 on that model regards kim

Oh and forgot but go direct to B&C and they give a stiff discount on military & LE stocks bought my nef one when he was in kuwait and they knocked like 45.00 off the order but they where top price stocks

Their margins are cutting into my margins. My issue is with the fact that I ordered the stock on 2/21 and was told about 12 weeks, meanwhile I'm waiting and now its halfway through the 12 weeks, here it is 4/2 and they are E-mailing me and wanting more money for something I am waiting for to show up in the near furure, now I find out that they have not even ordered the stock I ordered because of a "Pricing Glitch" in their system. I am a pretty forgiving person but its kind of like the bait and switch. It isn't my problem and they need to fix their glitch. The ball is in their court now. Either they deliver the stock I bought for the price I paid or they refund my money. I can find another stock.

What ever happened to if you advertise it a given price you have to sell it for that price. While I understand they have to make a profit they also have to run a business with in the consumer guide lines which are put in place to protect the consumer. If they say it is this much then they have to honor that unless things have changed. If they screw that up then they learn from their mistake and also get to write it off as a loss.

You paid in advance and are considered PAID IN FULL with the advertised price at the time. They have to eat any additional cost since you paid in full up front. If they refuse to eat their own business issue then tell them to give you a full refund and to go pound sand.
I have eaten a few special orders in my old business from time to time and it all goes into next years taxes at the end of the year for re coup anyway.
Their glitch, their business issue, they eat it. YOu bought at an advertised price, paid in full and they have to either deliver, or refund. Simple.

StockysStocks Review. Hopefully this post comes up when others search for Stockysstocks reviews. My brother ordered a stock from them, and they said nothing about it being back ordered for 3 months. They took his money of course. Then later they tell him it will be 3 months wait. He doesnt want to wait 3 months, so he wants to canceled his order. Now they want to charge him more money to cancel. Long story short he gets the order canceled, and about 5 weeks later he gets an email that the stock has shipped. Now he is wondering if the place is going to be chargeing his card. A few days later he gets home and there is a message from the owner of the company, yelling and bitching at him thinking he is trying to scam them out of thier $200 stock. He had canceled his order and then those dumb asses shipped out a stock to them. He never got the stock they shipped because they put a stop shippment on it. Thats fine he didnt want it anyways, and sure as hell didnt want to have to ship it back to those dumb shits, that ship stuff out when they dont even have payment for thier product. This tells a lot about thier operation, and the owner of StockysStocks. I would never deal with this horse shit operation again, and would advise other against it as well.

I got a call this afternoon from Kim @ Stockys. This is what I told her:
"Since you are unable or choose not to honor the sale price because you say its below your cost and you sold it to me that way I will no longer do business with you." I cancelled the order so now I need to find a new stock. I would have paid every bit of their asking price in the beginning but it became a matter of principle for me as they waited nearly 6 weeks to tell me they had a price glitch, my stock wasn't even on order and I needed to come up with extra cash to fix their screw up. It just wasn't easy for me to say Oh! OK! here is some more of my hard earned money for a substandard service.

Order from Shooters Discount. I've dealt with them a couple of times and they've been great.

They have recently screwed me to. I had called them to order a set of screws for my savage mkii and when i called i asked them to measure the screws they informed they have and that the screw were 1 inch in length boy were they wrong. the screws were only .800 long and thus screwing me over and out of about 25 bucks for two screws those a**holes

+1 for shooter's discount. They are great guys. Good upstanding christians who love the shooting sports. I hope they expand their line of products I would love to deal with them more often. One of the guys has a soon that is showing promise at our local f-class matches

With shootersdiscount.com being around, I dont see myself ever going to Stockys ever again, so yes, that is the moral of the story.

Update. I wound up cancelling the order and got my refund via PayPal before I got home which is about the fastest thing I got from Stocky's. I bought an LTR stock from a hide member. The moral to the story is simple. There are better places to spend your money than Stockys. I think this should be reflected by their manufactures pulling Stockys distributor rights. Their poor CS caused them to not only lose the sale but, I also did not buy the original B&C stock as planned.

Glad it worked out for you. In this business, a company's success is defined by their reputation and CS. Great products are always a plus, but there is more than one company that produces mid range products but because of their CS, product support and stellar reputation, are very successful. Everyone's budget is different, but everyones demand for CS is the same. The sooner Stocky's understands that, the better for them.

A company selling mid range products with bad CS and a less than steller reputation will not survive long. This economy will not support it.

You will like the LTR better anyways.
