Strongest light made

Re: Strongest light made

Look at the Surefire line. Specifically the M620C. Compact and bright unit with quick detact already available.

Another option is the X300 and run it as is or add the pressure switch attactment. You could use it on both a pistol and then swap it over to a rifle.

It's only available online (that I have found) from China, but it is freaking bright, super low drain on batteries, had mine for two years and have gone through two sets. It's heavy, which I equate to be rugged. So far I haven't been disappointed and recommended it to several other people as a weapon mounted light and they haven't been disappoint either. I use mine on a DPS .308. Do some research on it before you scoff at it.

Re: Strongest light made

Look into Eagle Tac P20's, Olight M20S-X, JetBeams, 4 Sevens 123x2 or Turbo.............4Sevens S12 Maelstrom is a monster if you can rig a mount.

Possibly Fenix as well, but don't care for twisting heads for modes....

Naturally, Surefire, but I feel their perf. lacks compared to those above. BUT, they have the name. So whatever you 'need' to have to 'own' the night.

Re: Strongest light made

Id say something from surefire, their top notch stuff. X300 or they have the RAID? light that does IR as well. I just purchased a m952v that does IR as well and look forward to getting it.

Re: Strongest light made

Surefire stands behind their stuff too!! If something ever gets messed up on your light, they will take care of you. I have a handheld E2 that I have had since June 2003. Been on quite a few deployments with, and am really surprised I haven't lost the damn thing yet! Tailcap switch tore on the rubber and Surefire sent me a new one, no questions asked. Also a new lens/head when I scratched the lens, again, no questions asked.

Re: Strongest light made

Surefire makes solid lights but I cannot reconcile their price. I'd take an Elzetta handsdown. Brighter, just as tough, cheaper, high/low output, and tons o configuration options makes it a no brainer for me.

Elzetta M60

You can get them with tons of options including tapeswitches, strobe tailcaps, different bezels, and different body lengths (for more or less cells).

I am going with Surefire from all of the recomendations. The X400.

Last question what would you recomend for a mount/rail so it can be mounted on the under side of a standard rifle barrel?

Thanks for all the info.
