100% just made that up, I have no idea....
Windage Limiter - limits the windage rotation a certain amount in either direction.
Cap and set screw can be moved to set windage zero, and then it limits rotation the same amount as before in either direction.
I think it's only featured on some of the 2.5-10 models.

That feature seems like a miss prevention feature cuz there’s only so much wind to dial for...good on Nightforce!
My atacrf1 limits to about 15 moa either way I’m pretty sure. So not just nxs. My sfp atacr I can spin the windage until I use up the travel. That’s useful in ELR where you might be dialing for 25+ moa of wind sometimes...
