My wife and I are on our fourth Subaru with no mechanical problems. Presently, my wife's daily driver is an Outback 3.0 LL Bean. We have owned a wide range including a 2005 STI with 370 HP to the wheels. With a nice roof rack, it looks pretty cool with plenty of room for everything. We own a 78 CJ7 with 35's and a Ford F250 4X4 Diesel. In snow or ice, we are definitely taking the Suby. When I lived in Colorado, we drove our big 4X4's during the summer and our Subaru's during the winter.
