My quest for a DTA bolt gun will have to be delayed a year. As of last Friday my old air conditioning/heating unit needs a $9,651. system replacement - and that's WITH a Costco discount.

Worse yet the week before I bought a $1,300. PS90 and 3 extra mags - not anticipating an AC meltdown, natch.

And two weeks before that I bought a Bushnel ERS 3.5 -21 X 50 scope W/ H59 reticle for $1,700. B/C those reticles won't be made with that scope for a while, sez Bushnell.
(Did I mention the $8,000. kitchen and two baths granite countertops spree last month?)(Or the $800. water softener replacement in June?)

So, yeah, I'm officially tapped out.

Lowering my aim a bit I'm now just going to get a decent folding chassis for my HS Precision Rem. long action .300 Win mag.

Something that has a reasonable diameter forearm that does not require me to grow a longer neck, like those dumb Cadex chassis forearms and reciever rails.
Something that folds to the right side and captures my bolt.
Something that has an extruded aluminum free floating forearm with a long Picatinny forearm rail.

Suggestions?
Contributions?
Loans?

If that is your requirement then you are stuck as Cadex is the only right folder you will find commercially available...unless of course you buy the RACS chassis thats at American Shooters. I recall they wanted $4k just for the chassis but have heard they built a complete gun out of it and want some ridiculous price for it.

As an alternative option, have you considered the W3 chassis from KRG?
