Rifle Scopes Suggestions???

I am looking to buy a decent scope for a 22lr. I want the best bang for the buck. I would like around 16 power and side parallax adjustment. Price range $200-$300. Suggestions?

Not side focus (it's rear focus), but look at the SWFA SS 16x scopes. Great scopes for the price, especially if you're going to be dialing and holding a lot at longer ranges.

16x Fixed. How are they at closer range? Say 10 meters?

Have a SS fixed 16, rear focus. At 10 meters you get a really detailed look at very little. Great for paper at 50+ meters.

That's one of the great things about this scope. It focuses down to 10m, unlike many other scopes which only go to 50m. As far as magnification goes, I have a Weaver V16 (4-16x) on my .22lr right now, and I've never had a problem using it at 25 yds. It definitely gets you up close and personal at that range.

Edit: I should also note that I use the V16 on 16x at 25yds.
