I already have one bushnell 10x but am about to purchase another scope for a 260 and was wondering which of the two I mentioned has better glass. The bushnell I have has been a good scope but I've never seen a SS so I have no idea.

Re: Super sniper 10x vs bushnell 10x

I have a 10X Super Sniper and I really like it. The glass is clean and clear, it gathers light very well, and all adjustments are crisp and repeatable. I have not had a Bushnell 10X but I would not hesitate to pick up any of the Super Snipers out there. Great scopes for the money.

The 10x SS imo is one the best deals going for a tactical rifle scope.
I have one that is a loaner now for other rifles.
I used it with much success in competitions with .308 700 out to 800 yards against guys with USO scopes.
I won about half the time.
Not bad for $300.00.
Plus if you find later you can afford a high end scope, you can drop the SS on a hunting rifle or a training rifle.
The New HD model is mil/mil and I have seen them under $650.00 in the used section of SWFA.
good luck!

Re: Super sniper 10x vs bushnell 10x

I have been using the bushnell 10x mil/mil for about 2 years now and have never had a single problem with it. I have drug it through chronic western Washington rain/dampness, eastern Washington heat/dust, Florida humidity, Alaska 40 below, and generally lots of use. Despite this it still tracks great and has maintained its environmental integrity.

The turrets are fairly tactile, the glass is more than good enough to get the job done, and the matching reticule/adjustments are vital, imo.

If I had one complaint it is the lack of parallax adjustment. Things can get a little bit fuzzy under 50 yards, but this can be managed with good, consistent head position. The 1" tube has never been a limitation and I have always had ample adjustment with a 20 moa base.
