anybody have any info or ideas on this new powder. hogdon says it will not show any better results in 223,308 or 260.

I have not tried it yet. Everything I have read says to not experiment with unlisted loads. I would like to try the leverolution powder though.

Havent gotten to try it, but from what I was told it will work well with the lighter for caliber bullets.

No. There are about 8 different blends used in the Superformance line by Hornady. This is one blend being sold by Hodgdon and is NOT the powder used in the .308 loads. Use it for the cartridges listed in the pdf.

I just took a 260 with 123gr SMKs to 3218fps with no pressure at all and shot under an inch at 200yards, that was with XX.Xgr of Superformance. 12fps spread
But the load for this rifle was XX.Xgr of Superformance going 3097fps with a 3fps spread cutting bullet holes I was using the new IOR 12-52x56 scope(F*cking Awesome to say the least).... Yeah I really like Superformance. So far 243, 243AI, 6mm, 6mmAI and now the 260 all have LOVED this powder with good speed and awesome accuracy! Just because its not in a book doesnt mean it wont work,,,, been reloading along time and never had a problem but Im not stupid,,,,start low and work up and you will be fine! Missing out if you wont try a powder just because its not in a book... But thats JMO
When this stuff just came out I bought 32lbs of it and allot of people were giving me hell, "Oh you bought into the hype" LMFAO no I just know how to reload, and I shoot ALLOT you might say.

I would really like to glean from your work, would you be willing to post a starting charge weight with this powder for the 123's and this powder.

Here you go.....started with 43gr went up to 47.5gr WAY to slow and way to light of load. 47.5gr with 123grSMK goin 2834fps out of a 24" pipe.
Then days later I started with 50grs and went up to 52.5gr in .5gr incerments.. 50.5gr had 3fps deviation over 3 shots going 3097fps ave and cutting bullet holes at 200yards with the new IOR 12-52x56 scope mounted on it which is very badazz!
52.5gr had a 12fps deviation going 3218fps shot 0.89" group for 3 shots, in the same gun. I only went up to 52.5gr because thats all the powder I could get in it with the OAL of 2.785 (I think thats the OAL I used, Im out in the missile field right now will check when I get home on Thursday if you want)
All done with Rem brass and Wolf LR primers and 123gr SMKs.
No pressure signs in the gun I tested with.
I havent test the 308 but I will very soon, wife is headed to Iraq this coming Monday on a short notice tasking, will have abunch of time to do more testing.
