Suppressors Suppressor for Mark 23

Re: Suppressor for Mark 23

I own the gun but have not got a suppressor for it yet. Thought I would ask the people that have one aready which one they like.
But with a name like Bacarrat I know you were just playing.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I think most people go with a KAC can for their MK23. My next can will be for a 45ACP and after hearing the Silencerco Osprey 45, I was sold.

Re: Suppressor for Mark 23

I recently bought a SWR HEMS 2 for an HK compact tactical. They come very highly recommended. I love my SWR Trident. I haven't gotten the .45 can yet. Check it out, probably a lot less expensive than the KAC.

Re: Suppressor for Mark 23

I had a Mk23 . I sold it - unfired - and bought the Tactical . If cost was no object , I would buy the Knight's can , as it was designed as a package ... I bought the SWR HEMS2 . I think it is as quiet as the KAC can , for a lot less money . It is also more versatile ... I love my Trident , too ...

Re: Suppressor for Mark 23

The Osprey is 132.5 Db Dry according to thier website. 123db fired WET.
MSRP $850

I belive their Db reduction data to be accurate and that's on a USP Tactical.......on a MK23 I'd imagine it's be even more quiet......

@ 3dbs separate the Osprey from the Ti-rant and about 350 bucks......

The Ti-rant is much more expensive for a mariginal Db reduction, but it is likely lighter and tougher due to being made of Ti.
MSRP $1200

IMHO the Db /$ value of the Osprey can't be beat.......

I'd get a KAC can if you are looking to get the offical package.......@1200 & Up.....

Re: Suppressor for Mark 23

My brother has a Mk23, his HEMS2 is just as quiet wet as a Knights is dry according to him, the Osprey is a cool can, I attended a demo of it, I was impressed, on a 45Tac it seemed a cunt hair quieter than the HEMS2, both dry, and about the same wet, Knights cost too much IMHO, I would get a Osprey or a HEMS2.
