Suppressors Suppressor Used in Mass Shooting

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/s...-silencers/ar-AACFdm7?ocid=spartandhp#image=1

So the Supreme Court is NOT going there! What happened to all of the talk at the beginning of Trumps term about how they would push through a NFA repeal?

https://www.mediaite.com/trump/trump-condemns-gun-silencers-after-virginia-beach-shooting-i-dont-like-them-at-all/

"President Donald Trump, a Republican with a close relationship to the National Rifle Association pro-gun lobby, said in an interview aired on June 5 that he does not like silencers and would be open to considering banning the devices. His administration this year imposed a ban on "bump stock" attachments that enable semi-automatic weapons to be fired rapidly, with the Supreme Court in March permitting the policy to take effect."

And Trump is willing to go after suppressors!

People had better wake up, or start selling your Cans before you have to take them to a scrap yard!

There's nothing much we can do about it except to keep pressure on the congress critters.

I'm not saying this about anyone on this forum but far too many gun owners sit on their asses and don't bother to join pro-gun organizations that really stand up for our rights. I'm not talking about the NRA. Piss on them.

So here's a link from the GOA to tell our congress critters to deregulate suppressors. With a democratic controlled house that's probably not going to happen. Nevertheless, we need to keep pressure on them. That's why the HPA and CCW reciprocity didn't happen. Gun owners expected someone else to make the call.

https://gunowners.org/take-action-to-completely-deregulate-suppressors/

I've talked to far too many people that bitch about politicians but never bother to contact them on gun issues let alone even vote.

Is the letter entering the recipient's name and adding my signature automatically when I hit the submit button? I see the site wants me to 'edit' the email before submitting. Is it sending to all individuals who are found by address or do I have further chance to pick the recipients? Rep for my area is a dem and anti-gun, would love to see her go apoplectic upon receipt, though I might also get paid a visit for sending to her.

I didn’t edit it. Which is something that I normally do as I like to customize messages to the swamp dwellers.

So to answer your question is that you should be able to submit without editing.

There’s always a possibility that you could get paid a visit but I think that is unlikely as these people get some really nasty hate-filled correspondence compared to a polite email that differs from their position.

I came within a fraction of an inch of losing my life in an auto accident once. That changes your perspective on things.

I’m not foolhardy but not very many things frighten me as a result of that experience. Getting paid a visit from government goons just cause I sent a message to a slithering swamp dweller is not one of them.

Welp, voted for her or not, she is still my Congresswoman and is meant to represent me as well as those who voted for her so I've no issue sending an email. Just wanted to make certain that things didn't go out unaddressed and/or signed.

They will not bother responding either way support or not.
If you don't show up
On the contribution list you do not matter one GOD DAMNED BIT.
And then it's just for show if it pleases them.

You won't get a letter from them ever with thier signature so they can change thier stance as per who ever is paying and not be held accountable.

EVER !
Not one damn response in 40 years.
Fuck them all.

So apparently now they are saying it was a legally purchased suppressor. Also the one law maker is claiming that her bill to allow municipalities to regulate guns on their properties would have prevented the shooting because he only needed one more law to stop him from murdering 12 people.

It’s impressive the guy used a legal suppressor. Kind of throws out the wait to buy laws. If someone is willing to wait over 10 months to commit a crime, mine as well set the date to 20 years cause 10 months seemed like a really long time to me.

It took this long to confirm if was a legally purchased suppressor, but not picture, no brand name , no model number, no info where he purchased it,

I call BS.

You guys know when you deal with le they want your story right now.
Then they demand it be repeated over and over trying to trip you up.

They cant seem to stand up to thier own tactics.
They clam up and run it through lawyers, union reps and spin doctors.

Amazingly they get all pissed off if you do that.

In this instance since they were not in any hot water can't figure what they have to gain?

Here are some links to articles and a newscast about the upcoming legislative session in the Virginia Legislature.

Click on the video on this page to listen to a radio interview with Knox Williams of the American Suppressor Association. This is one interview that you might want to send to someone that's against suppressors or on the fence about it.
