Supressor in NY?

I was looking into getting into hunting coyotes at night with a friend of mine and we were looking at night optics and supressor. He's been hunting alot longer than I have and says he thought that supressors were legal with the right paperwork and that he's seen them around. Is this true? I thought all supressors were illegal in NY

Sorry buddy but as far as I can tell (Advanced Armament's site) NY is a no go state for cans.

Night hunting is allowed for furbearing animals. Suppressors are not legal in NY.

Sorry my friend but you and me both unfortunately live in communist pieces of the United States. Well technically they are both part of the U S.
