So I'm 8 hrs from home at USTC at LAV's CQB class & my 762MINI arrives at my dealer. I can't wait to get home & try it out. This is, from my understanding, one of the first 14 made. Pictured L to R is my 556MINI, 212, 762MINI, & my dealers 762K. As you can see it is identical to the 212. I'm going to try & shoot it in the next week & will report back how it does.

Re: Surefire 762MINI

Looks to be more fun then a barrel of Monkey's!
I like the new Surefire offerings. The new latch really is an improvement.
I shoot my 14.5" AR with 5.56 Mini quite a bit. Very nice combo IMHO.

Re: Surefire 762MINI

Very nice collection. I am hoping the 762SS I have ordered will show up soon.

One question though, are those all equipped with the new style lockring?

Yes they are.... you can tell my the collar shape.

Re: Surefire 762MINI

FWIW, my 556MINI & 212 were ordered last Jan at SHOT. The 212 came in a couple months ago & the 556MINI arrived last month I think? A large contract order with SOCOM was announced in Sept with the SF gaining nearly double that of a major competitor, from what I have heard, mostly for the 212 with the 215a mount.

So it may take a bit, but they will come. The new latch is by far and away the best mount/retainer on the market. If it even has a "decent" amount of suppression, the 762MINI will be an awesome Jack of All trades can. I am curious to see how it does on a shorty 556 as well as a longer barreled 762 Bolt gun.

Re: Surefire 762MINI

Surefire also announced they quadrupled their machining capabilities a few months back. I think there was a post here about it. That should help them stay caught up with military orders and civilian sales.
