Surgeon Rifles??

Is Surgeon still building rifles or.... I know they were bought out and said that the move would allow them to build a lot more "Ready to Ship" rifles, but only two rifles are on their site and they have been listed for at least the last six months or so, and usually all of their rifles go pretty quickly. Could someone or possibly Preston chime in on this?? Thanks- Gray

Yes, they are still building as many rifles as ever. They recently got in some new machines that required them to shut down production of rifles for awhile to move things around. (You can't just slap a 4 axis CNC machine on a dolly and move it across the shop, set it down and plug 'er in.) Just give em a call, you may not have to wait as long as you think.

They are still building rifles.

Their actions are better than ever and their build techniques are Tier 1. Call and ask for Stephen. He can give you some insight as to deliveries, specs, etc.

To Terry and all that replied, thanks for the info. The reason why I was asking is I have always loved their strategy of building rifles of popular chamberings, but still keeping each one unique from the others at the same time. I was waiting to see if a new string of .223's hit the shelf and maybe just maybe pick one up if I saw the right combo I was looking for. We'll see what happens...
