If you try and do not like it, give me a call. We will gladly work with you to make it right.

Re: SW Ammo Gasser Loads

We've always recommend the run n gun 308 for gas guns, as the LC brass doesn't get beat up as much, and we still use the harder CCI military primers. It's all loaded to 2.810" max COAL to ensure function through the 308 Pmags.

We initially planned to offer both a gas and bolt gun load in 260, but the load we worked up for bolt guns was almost identical to the load recommended by George for his semi-auto rifles. I also dropped some off at GAP for them for try when I was back home in MO last year, and they performed very well.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks. I was thinking it was only related to the COAL, but I didn't know if there was anything else.

So there should be no pressure concerns using your match ammo in a gasser?

Re: SW Ammo Gasser Loads

No issues, our ammo will function safely and accurately, in all bolt and semi-auto rifles, including M1As.

Thanks,

Mike

Re: SW Ammo Gasser Loads

Nice looking ammo.

Your link to the page for that ammo describes it as running at 2650 through a 24" barrel... I assume that is a bolt action 24", not a 20" gasser. Prolly getting about 2540/60 through a gas gun??
Do you have any gas gun specific chrono numbers for your loads?
THanks for the nice prices on some good looking ammo. Look forward to trying it out.
Thanks!
Mike

Re: SW Ammo Gasser Loads

2650 is our standard velocity through a 24" bolt gun. 20" Gas guns usually run around 2560ish.

Re: SW Ammo Gasser Loads

I finally got to shoot the 69g run and gun ammo my roommate purchased a few weeks ago through the AR and it was some really good stuff, so I ordered another 500.

Thanks for providing us with some superb ammo at a great price.

FWIW, I am getting between 2450 to 2500 fps out of an 18" AR10.

Re: SW Ammo Gasser Loads

In relation to FGMM 175's how is your speed compared to the FGMM 175 smk's? I would rather buy from you guys, as you are on here all the time. My twist is 10, dpms lr308.
