+1 on Camera Land. Be sure to to ask to talk to Doug and tell him you are a member of Snipers Hide. I have bought several items from Doug include the Swaro range finder. Their service is great and their prices are the lowest I could find.

Thank you about the info you provided about the Swarovski Rangefinders, I saw the site and there are several units for sale. I just wanted to know that when you got your order were they all in almost new condition?. It is my understanding that these are Factory demos and never sold before. Am I correct? Did you get warrently on them?

I got a demo Swaro LRF from Cameraland a year or so ago and could not tell it from brand new. It is excellent.

i got a chance to use the new leupold 1000 rangefinder last week and was actually pretty impressed. i have never liked leupold rangefinders at all because of all the functions and modes, but the new 1000 is small and shows everything in red which i really liked since it looks the same as my leica. so far im happy with it but time will tell, if you get a leupold, plan on spending some time learning the thing.
