Couple questions:
-Is this a true 1x?
-How is daytime illumination?
-Battery type and expected life?
-Reticle?
-Chance of smaller capped turrets? Maybe two models, one capped/locked as per Mumbles, one exposed?
-Weight?
-Does the illumination dial have detents, and if so, can the illumination be turned off between each intensity level, or do you have to dial all the way to "OFF?"

It's prototype, so changes can be made, so long as they are improvements to the masses, I guess.
Looks to be "true" 1X, will do some testing to verify, but NOT anything like Millett's "1X."
Illumination is still being perfected. Pics coming soon. There is some "light scatter" in the tube when the illumination is on full tilt (just as in my Aimpoint and in most other "bright" illumination optics.) They are working on reducing the scatter. It is only noticeable at the highest setting. In full sunlight, the scatter isn't visible but the illuminated portion of the reticle is.
Battery is 2032, not sure on life expectancy, just got the scope, will fail the battery in testing.
Chances of smaller, capped: ask Chris at SWFA (a sponsor here on the Hide.)
Weight: TBD
Illumination adjustment is a rheostat, no stops between the numbers, no detents, spin it to desired intensity setting. At 1, it is barely visible in low light; at 10 in low light, lots of scatter in the tube. At 10 in full sunlight, red portion of reticle is red and clearly illuminated.
Real field testing begins tomorrow.
