Rifle Scopes SWIFT Handgun Scopes

Re: SWIFT Handgun Scopes

Swift isn't going to be as sturdy as the Nikon or Leupold from my experience.

I have used Nikon's Monarch 2.5-8x EER scopes, as well as different models of Leupold 2x and 4x fixed and handgun scopes. They are very tough, reliable, don't lose zero once set, and have stood up to recoil from 357mag to 454 Casull and more recently to 500S&W revolvers.

You'll save money on the Swift initially, but you may end up spending more in the long-run should you have to replace the Swift due to mechanical failure.

Re: SWIFT Handgun Scopes

Don't mean to start an argument here, but I've never understood why someone would want a scope on a handgun. Can you really shot a handgun accurately that far that you need a magnified scope? Maybe with a bench rest which is not practical, but that is another argument. Why not get a laser sight instead. For speed fiberoptic sights.

Please educate me.

Re: SWIFT Handgun Scopes

Easier to see with a scope, better accuracy than iron sights and quite a few other reasons. Not everyone likes lasers and fibreoptic sights are still not as accurate. Maybe you should look at some of the comps which allow or use scopes on pistols and start educating yourself

OP, I've got a Swift rifle scope. It's good value for money, reasonably clear and functions well. I would expect the same thing for the pistol scopes. Korean made as well. Life span is hard to predict. As is warrenty support, I've not heard of any one who has used it but they are not a well known brand.

Re: SWIFT Handgun Scopes

Take a look at Burris handgun scope
this 2-7x32 has over 5000 shot of cast bullet in it ranging from 300 to 575 gr and still going strong
it has the ballistic plex and once adjusted it has the posilock that lock the adjustments
