Switching to a smaller contour than the original inlet - Manner T6a stock?

Hello,

I have a Manners T6a stock that was originally inlet for an MTU barrel. I am considering running a lighter contour, e.g., a Sendero in 6mm Creedmoor, with this stock and Deviant action. This seems to be OK in terms of stability and accuracy potential, maybe some aesthetic considerations, but I thought I would poll the crowd's collective wisdom on the subject.

Thoughts or comments?

Thank you in advance for your consideration.

/Steve

I've done it. No biggy. Just looks a little weird from the top view. You can do a switch barrel on the deviant so now you have the ability to run lighter up to mtu without issues.
