Hey all, is it just mine or are T5Xi parallax adjustment just inaccurate and suck.

Took the TSXi out for the first time. Sighted in on paper within 3 shots, and then move it out to 100 to do the final adjustments. But damn, I can’t seem to be able to to get parallax adjusted to get a clear picture at 100 to be able to see anything.

At 100, I adjust my parallax to 100, but it’s so blurry I have to dial it back to 75 to br able to see anything. However, even at 75, the 40% of the outter edge is blurred/cloudy, and middle is somewhat clear, or as clear as I can get it.

Anyone with experience or suggestions?

Whenever the parallax on my T5Xi seems wonky, I reset the diopter and then things are well again. Here’s a link to a method I’ve found works well.

Is something changing with your vision or is the diopter adjustment moving on the scope? I ask because you really shouldn’t have to readjust the diopter setting if it’s done correctly.

My eyes (as with most) do go through a daily cycle. This generally becomes more profound with age. Also, hydration through the day can impact this. Is this something I do _always_, no; but for the absolute best focus, I’ve always found starting with diopter adjustment yields best results. Just an opinion based on my experience.

So, tried to readjust focus. It helped a little bit. But, the diff between cloudy and clarity is still a very fine millimeters of adjustments away from one another. Very weird. I’ll be sending it back and have them take a look at it.

Thanks all for the suggestions and help. I’ll report back once I get it back from Steiner.
