TAC-22 Ammo Review

Ok so I tested this ammo out with 2 of my more accurate 22s.
Hopefully this will give you some idea as to what your rifle may do with this ammo.
Heads up it was about 5/8 in 5 shot groups if you do not want to see the video.
I'm not trying to get extra clicks, just hoping to help.

This stuff shoots respectable groups for me.

About 3/8in or so with the ammo it likes.
Sometimes cheaper ammo shoots just as well as the premium at 50-100yds.
SK is my go to ammo, that's what they like.

They have a thread on here about where to find rimfire ammo, or you can try ammoseek.
Hopefully things will ease up before spring?...
I've heard mixed opinions.

I still have about 1500 rounds of TAC22 from when it went on clearance at Midwayusa. Yes it was okay at 50 yards but threw wild flyers. At 100 it was terrible, the ES and SD was higher than desired to be reasonably consistent.

I found it to be as good as anything in that price range. Good enough for me to do exclude head shots on Squirrels at around 35yds....
....provided that I have a very solid fallen tree to brace on.

Seriously, it's proven very good in my 455.

I could see how the flyers may be spread out more @ 100yds, but it's not bad at all at 50yds.

I guess that depends on the target, purpose and if you only shoot at 50 yards. I'll use it up for practice on 2-3 MOA targets.

Yeah, I find it good practice ammo for rifle, but really good for pistol/AR15 22lr, as the range is closer.

My T1X and B14R shoot it very well out to 150yds. I loaded up a few months ago, LGS had it for $4.50 a box and Norma Match for $6.70 a box, they would let you have 4 boxes of each The match shoots better than the Tac.

Agreed the Norma match shoots great in my sako quad good stuff for the price
