Will my Badger base fit on a Stiller Tac-30? The Stiller website says a standard Remington front base fit both ends of the action.

This is my first foray into custom actions, hence the Rook question.

If the Badger is a one piece for Remington pattern action then no. The rear of the TAC-30 is round. That is why you must use two front mounts as in a two piece base or get the Stiller base. There may also be other options that I am not aware of.

Seekins makes a one piece mount for Stiller actions. If you call Leupold they will exchange two MK4 700 mounts for a package of 2 piece 700 MK'4s. While I was waiting for my Stiller, I bought a two piece MK4 base, which Leupold offered to switch for me. I contacted Glen Seekins and decided on one of his one piece mounts instead, but Jerry put a Stiller base on my rifle so I just left the Stiller base on. They are all good options. The Seekins base extends about an inch longer over the barrel, the Stiller stops at the lug.
