When someone replies to an item for sale and respond with "tag" what does that mean?

It means that they want to be ae to review the thread again some time in the future, but they're too lazy to click on Topic Options and Watch This Topic. Or they're an attention whore. Either way, I think it's rude and I don't care for the behavior.

Means they are replying in that thread so they can easily find it via their "posts" interface. Makes finding threads easier than searching through the SH pages for them, especially on sections with high thread updates (aka guns for sale)
