I think it is the voters fault. There are no longer any moderate Democrats or Republicans. We don't elect anyone who isn't extreme left or right. No surprise their agendas are extreme and they can't work together.

Me too, a lot can happen over a weekend and regardless of what Trump is saying, he must be in panic mode right now.
We already have a lot of capacity though. It isn’t like Federal, Winchester, Hornady, etc. have to re-invent the wheel, break ground on virgin property, and start from scratch.
The thing that’s crazy is labor costs in China have risen dramatically since US politicians created the environment where our manufacturing was shipped over there, and they kept getting more value added into their system, even if it was for lower-end products in the market that were run out of the US (textiles, toys, small parts, cheap electronics). They also went up because of One Child, where the CCP murdered 100 million female babies, and who knows how many males over 35 years.
