Can you compare it to the M4 Super 90? Is it worth $1300 or whatever, is it a good buy? How do you feel about the plastic mag tubes? Is it something you'd depend on or is it just a range toy? Do all the features work, it's reliable? How's recoil?

I gotta admit, the futuristic look appeals to me and I like the ratcheting adj. choke and other features, but I'm not much of a shotgun guy so I'm not sure whether I'd be better served with a solid more traditional goto like the Super 90, or the newer futuristic TS-12 with all it's features.

It'd probably only ever be used as a range toy but it may see home or personal defense roles... My only other shotgun is a Mossberg Raptor. Like I said, not much of a shotgunner. But I'd like one nice one I can depend on, I know Super 90 would fill that role but would the TS-12 do you think? Or is it just another gimmick like the USAS12 or the AK12, etc.?

I don't have one, I do have a Saiga-12, and a buddy has a KSG. Both are pretty cool looking shotty's, but honestly I don't like shooting either one. Everytime I want a shotgun I end up picking up my Mossberg 930, or Rem 1100. I think if I were going to spend the money on another shotgun I'd get a Super 90, I think really hard on it at times.:)

Same here, you KNOW a Super 90 will be a good buy. One day maybe.

But I have checked one out and handled one and it's pretty interesting to say the least, not like anything else for sure. It's its own beast. It actually looks/feels/handles decent and those other shotguns never caught my attention like this one has. That plastic mag tube is the one thing that really prevents it from coming off as more serious IMO, but that's just from initial inspection. I'd like to fire one but I'm not gonna pay the money just to try it out. I was hoping more folks here had done that already.

If it is what it claims to be, then it's one bad MF'er. Otherwise it's just a range toy. And what's up with no irons?

Yeah, it doesn't look like aluminum tubes would've added much weight, and been a lot more robust. I see them for $1200, and I guess in the grand scheme that isn't that much. Are they manufactured in Israel?

I see shotguns for breaching and hunting birds and small game. This doesn't look like it is meant for either role. If I was going to buy another shotgun I would want something that screams reliability. This screams that a 6 year old with crayons drew it on a dinner table and a corporate manager drunkenly promised his kid he'd make it real.

I've never heard someone have good things to say about the KSG. Having a rotating 3-tube magazine attached to a gas operated system sounds like a whole lot of dickery and mental games. What is the purpose of this thing?

Who said anything about KSG? Don't they make junk? This is IWI, TS-12, they supposedly make these for the Israeli military. As to whether that mag tube is robust enough is another story though.

It is futuristic and wasn't designed with bird hunting in mind. It's a fighting shotgun, hence the 15rd. capacity. I think the choke is crenelated so it could be used for breaching and you could dedicate a tube for that as well, rotate and have buckshot on hand and do a tactical reload when permitted. It's pretty flexible.

Way back when we used to have to carry a Mossberg 500 PGO for breaching. Basic. I have a Raptor I built a long time ago that'd be much better suited for that. But you still had to carry the shotgun plus other shit for breaching and a rifle. Why can't one guy in the stack have a shotty? A Super 90 can do this but then you gotta reload after breaching. TS-12 has 10 more rounds on tap.

Good question. Most of their stuff is and has US parts added. Not sure about this but I'd reckon it to be the same? You see 'em online for $1200 or in local stores for $1200? Local guy wants $1300 something, sure I could talk him down some if I offered cash but not sure I really want it yet... Wish he had a Super 90 I could compare it to.

Well, was reading that it's apparently not very reliable, but IF it were, they're saying it could be the "M4 Benelli killer".

Wonder what problems they're having with it. Supposedly it needs to be broken in and you gotta find a "load it likes and stick with it". That's not too comforting. If it won't cycle the TAP 00 and certain slugs, then I don't need it.

I have one. Initial break in with only slugs 200 or so through it. Need to try 00 and some lighter loads for fun dumps still. Its chugs em out. Its semi auto but no Benelli. I have shot super90 14" and its no contest with speed and reliability.

Reloading the next tube is quick, a seamless spin autoloads it into the chamber. Recoil was not bad. The weight is not as heavy as it looks, but its off balance unloaded. Benelli kills it with ergonomics. I missed the chance to get a USAS12 so when I saw these I had to.

    Brain bugs have no chance.
