We're planning to announce by mid Q4. I've been shooting it on my HK's and it works great.

Although this wasn't my intended use for the FLY, it also sounds good with subsonic 300 BLK. I'd want earpro for extended shooting sessions in the "short" config, but it'd be fine for hunting.
In case anyone is wondering, that's a Plan B Omega 9K mount with a Rearden single-port brake.
And yes, my van is dirty.

It’s pretty sweetNothing special - one of the ACC-marked Rem 7 actions, KAK 10.5" barrel, MDT LSS chassis with one of their folding adapters and a Magpul fixed carbine stock. Obviously it's on a Form 1.
We'll announce it with full details in mid Q4.Any specs you can share on the Fly 45? Diameter, caliber rating, etc...?
We'll announce it with full details in mid Q4.
Here are a few hints, for now: a little larger OD than the Fly9. Longer. Rated for .45-70.
We had a couple batches done but I think they are spoken for at this point. Otherwise our current backlog is ETA mid Feb.
As for the second comment, could you elaborate if you mean the 9 or 45 can, and which datapoints you're looking at?
But the fly will suppress the 45-70 guide gun too!The Ultra 5 will be quieter on 308 than the Fly45/Short
Yeah, combining the big bore diameter for .45 ACP and the dynamics of that cartridge, it works out differently than 9mmMid-Feb is fine, and the timing is good because I was already going to place an order for a few other cans to put into inventory.
I was looking at the G21 shooter's ear numbers with "full power" ammo - 6 dB louder in the Short config. Your Fly9 numbers show that the Short config of that can is actually 3 dB quieter in the Short config with standard 9x19 ammo. The same is true for your competitor's cans in both cases, so I assume the effect is some combination of cartridge and host.
