Suppressors TBAC Ultra 9 swap??

Greetings..Well I think I made newbie mistake but I can live with but any possible options would be greatly appreciated.

I am in the process of getting the paperwork approval on a Thunderbeast (TBAC) - Ultra 9 (black) in a .30 cal.

Was curious to see if there was any way to swap it out for the 338 perhaps with another NFA dealer?
I am just thinking about long term ability to utilize it for multiple calibers.

Any thoughts would be welcomed.

If you have already submitted paperwork and paid for it then no.

Not sure what you paid for the 9, or what you’d pay for the 338 ultra, but it wouldn't be worth it at this point.

Do they have a 338 Ultra in stock? I don’t see why you couldn’t change at this point unless they have policies in place that wouldn’t allow it, like no returns/exchanges on special order stuff etc.

If paperwork has not been sent on it then yes you should be able to get a refund or return. The serial number isn’t your yet.

Oh well. Hard to argue you made a newb mistake buying an ultra 9 anyway.

If you haven't submitted your Form 4 yet, and the suppressor has only be Form 3'd to your dealer, then you can sell the Ultra 9 and Form 3 it to the buyer's SOT. Then take the money and buy a 338 ultra.

There would be no lost tax stamp on that transaction if its a new purchase and you've not started your form 4.

I had bought one suppressor then changed my mind and ending up selling it before filing my form 4. My dealer charged me ~$50 for his time & shipping costs to transfer to a new SOT. That was all I was out.
