Yeah that's a big cost. But only about 6-8% of GDP.

The US's national debt has increased by $5 trillion in the last three years, and not for the betterment of US national security.

That is a very conservative number. Also that cost is for right now and doesn't include future costs which have analysts forecasting/estimating to be from 3-5 trillion.(Including Afghanistan) The long term costs includes stuff like lifetime VA care for wounded, Iraqi programs, etc.

we have yet to reap any rewards from our involvement in iraq. I spent almost 2 years of my life in that place, and lost some good friends there. Everyday I struggle with the idea that it was a complete waste of time, money, and lives.....

$240.00 bucks to build one, charge $60,000.00 bucks for each of the units,,,, sell a whack of them.... and they DON'T WORK.
