Pearsol ? I don’t know if I’m spelling that correctly. I don’t even know where that is in relationship to anywhere else in Texas LOL, I was just told it was north of San Antonio
Why do you need permission from a farmer to shoot your bow?I live in Austin. Really want find a farmer that will let me shoot my bow.
Usually in Austin but headed out of town. If there enough of us around here would be fun to get a SH range day on the calendar though-
because i like to shoot it 60 to 100 yards with my bow also the club area is hard with kids. Texas is super low on public land, plus land owners don't like trespassers (rifles shoot farther than bows). here to dreams lolWhy do you need permission from a farmer to shoot your bow?
id be there for sure. There's a few Texans on the board.
Been toying with the idea of a shooter's weekend out in East TX. Roughly 3.5 hours out for anyone coming from Austin, Houston, or Dallas areas. Need a better cook than me, though, for something like that. Ain't that right, @101stinfantry ?
5 days at leastPearsall is south of me, how long are you in TX?
If you decide to head north on I-35 for a way then let me know!
If time permits DM me we can shoot or grab a drink. I will be through your neck of the woods twice this year on way to place in Wyo.5 days at least
I forgot to get a pie... good thing I’m here for a while.best dam apple pies, just like McDonalds use to make in the 70's before they went all healthy and stopped frying shit in pig fat.
I took lots of back roads. Came through lubbock and Snyder. Very little I35. Traffic wasn’t bad actually.I don't know where you cut south or west from ? Cheyenne but there are several 75 mph small highways west of I 35 that cut out Austin and San Antonio bs.
I go down highway 16 (1hour west of fort worth on I 20) all the time to south of Kerrville /Bandera hunting, that is just north of Pearsol.
If you guys get together with @QuickNDirty make sure he thaws out some of those deer steaks, and sausage! That shit is damn good, I'll warn you though he looks like a serial killer! LOL!
