I'm quite new to reloading but a fast learner on a new subject.

I'd like to thank everyone who has shared a problem or solution suggestions. I learned a great deal. Of course there is more to learn but...

I just had a most fun success.

Rifle:
Weatherby Vanguard in 300 WSM
Pac-Nor 3L 10 twist 30 cal 28 inch sendoro
Boyds featherweight thumbhole.
Vortex Viper PST second focal plane
Timney trigger at 1 1/4lb.

Other than the barrel RI I do all my work.

Cartridge:
Remington 300WSM Brass, annealed, neck turned, primer pocket uniformed, etc...
Hornady A-Max 208, hBN coated
H4350

Loading:
Lyman turret adjusted to remove any cant
Forster benchrest dies
RCBS Chargemaster.

I've been working on the load for this rifle for a bit and hitting many of the same problems expressed on the 'Hide. Last week I gave my latest rounds a try. They chronned at 2700 fps which is where I thought the first node would be. After the chron work, I plugged the numbers into StreLok and had it compute the 700 YARD solution. Adjusted the turrets and sent the first round. 12" High.Checked everything and found I miss counted my elevation clicks. Corrected.

With 14 rounds left of that load, I proceded to hit a 6" reactive target 7 times.

I made some more and the next day hit the 6" 700 YARDtarget 3 times in a row as well as other hits.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their problems, trials and tribulations and solutions.

Not yet.

Not sure what changes to make. I don't care about speed, I would like higher accuracy. I load 13 calibers. 22 Hornet, 38 super, 45 acp, 44 rem mag, 223, 243, 260, 308, 300WSM, 7.62x54R, 8mm Mauser and 270 Weatherby.

The 38 super is the only one done on a progressive.

When chroning load, my MagnetoSpeed gave me an SD of 4 for 5 shots on the load I liked.

One of my local coaches suggested switching to grams as it would be a higher level of accuracy.

I would love suggestions on parameter changes.

Thank you, yes it is. Especially when as much as possible I do all the work.

I could not have done it though with out the sharing of the online community.
