I have admired Mikes work from the moment I saw it. I finally felt compelled to shoot him a message, just to say that I am at the baby stages of building a rifle, and that I really appreciated the quality of work he did. Basically a fan letter. I don’t know what I expected him to say, but he replied just as I think everyone I’ve seen said he does. “Call me” So I did. And we had an awesome conversation. I can’t say thank you enough. Just a stand up guy, all the way. I hope to someday have both the reputation of work and craftsmanship, as well as of integrity and personality that he has gained.

That’s all, I just had to give props.

First time I ever talked to him was back when I was mostly on snipercentral, and the only thing I could afford to shoot at the time was a savage. He did the same thing for me, "call me", and I did, and he spent more time than he needed telling me things that he didn't need to tell me.

He's good people.

No, if I was going to buy one, I’d just lurk about his website until I was ready. I actually want to build my own. Clearly I can’t do what he does, but I can look at what he does and aspire to that. I only wanted to give some kudos to him and he was kind enough to share some sage wisdom.
