That's Just Stalky McNutts

There's always that asshat that thinks they are promoting gun rights, that actually do more to hurt them than anything else. Like the guys who walk up and down the street openly carrying AR's on busy sidewalks. Yeah, they can do it, they have every right to do it, but they cause alarm, piss people off, and give politicians cover when they vote to take away rights. Just because you CAN do something, does not mean you should...….

Never heard a word out of his cockholster, but that guy looks the part of a pseudo republican

Pseudo is lower than the typical pol that morphed into a RINO. And would be deliberate plant from day one with the intention to stabya in the back.

Did the guy pull a gun on him?
Is this person his constituent?
Are these people above one on one conversation with the people they "represent"?
Does the guy who showed up get to call in the state police when he is threatened?
What does one guy have to do with the rights of the constitution?
Why does this "circus" even have a bearing on the mentioned bill?
Does he have footage that this visit actually happened?

Sorry, folks, but if someone were to show up on my doorstep wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt making demands on me, and instead scared the piss out of my wife, I'd be pretty fucking cranky, too, and not in a mood to reward someone for negative behavior.

When we want to make ourselves heard by our state legislators, we go en masse to Harrisburg and clog the hallways and cluster outside the offices of those we seek to lobby for support for 2A. We don't do what the other side does, and employ information from doxxing to go and stalk people like Tucker Carlson.

Manners, indeed, maketh man ...

Yes wrong thing to do.

But ramifications for all Texans for the actions of one man?

Far end of the spectrum, but for all anyone knows, the two could be in cahoots.

Funny how he felt threatened.
Just like his constituents feel when they get another hoop to jump through when
they try/need to protect themselves.
Part of the reason "we've" gotten here is a result of these "elected officials" feel
they are above having to deal with the "common man" and experience his world.
If they felt they were held more to account maybe we'd see less RINO behavior.
This smells much more like "leverage" was applied and he used this as an excuse.
Also, you aren't an elected official.

It used to be that rights and responsibilities were taught and valued in America. Now everyone focuses on just their rights.
Did he have the right to go to his house? Yes.
Did it favorably advance his cause? No.
Does he appear to the outsider to be sensible or unhinged? Guess.

But when they come knocking, your'e expected to answer the door. Something, something about two tiers.

Yes, I'll take a number 1, vanilla shake and a 6-piece McNutt. No sauce.

You said a 6-piece, right?

Mcnutt advanced his own agenda that day. And he hurt the gun rights agenda. But as long he feels good about it. I’m sure everything will get brushed under the rug. It’s not like the media would present this situation unfavorably.

Politicians already proved laws don’t mean shit...so why should we bother with them?

The constitution grants you constitutional carry, not these limp wristed cucks....

Carry and say fuckem

He held his representative accountable. You may view it as hurting the gun rights agenda. I don't. I think the response from his rep was telling and now they can find a real gun rights candidate and move on from this sheep in wolves clothing. Just like I tell my kids and employees; don't listen to what someone tells you they're going to do, watch what they do because that's who they really are.

He held his representative accountable? By showing up at his home when he wasn’t even there?
We are in a war over civil rights. It needs to fought smartly and for the win. The big win. In McNutts mind he won his own little battle but hurt the war.

We've played the "high road" for quite a while.
Do you feel this has been a productive strategy?

One of the many reasons I DON'T run for public office is the expectation of disgruntled constituents showing up at my door and giving me an earful. Lord knows the greasy wheel gets the grease and there's some loud mouth wheels out there.

It's not beyond reasonable nor unexpected. Just not reported daily. Usually makes the politician look bad. Maybe he should have waited until him and his family were in a restaurant and made a public display of it. Seems that IS acceptable. ?

Don't we often talk about "being a man" and taking our issues and talking face to face "like a man". It's NOT unreasonable to show up at someone's doorstep, unannounced and unwanted, and to ring the doorbell. Fuck, salesmen do it all the time at my door.

I spent 2 decades putting felons in prison, and the last decade investigating and charging welfare cheats, prosecuting them and getting their benes cut. When someone shows up unannounced and knocks on my door, unless they are the UPS or FedEx guy, they usually are not happy with the response they get..... Home is a man's sanctuary where his family lives, and it is off limits IMO

What I’m saying is this.
There is our side. The conservative, pro 2A, pro freedom side.
There’s the other side.
Then there’s the big mushy middle.
The left and the right will never sway each other.
The mushy middle will only be influenced by whatever the msm feeds them. Don’t give them any ammo.

They want to modify it because they are afraid. Fear is they’re motivation and it’s they’re fuel.
I’m giving my opinion here that what mcnutt did was stupid because it will be spun that he is unhinged.
You are free to act however you choose. I’m not about to start acting like the left.

My point is that they/them aren't playing by the rules.
We catch them in lie after lie and they know they aren't going to be held to any standard.
If you hadn't noticed we are being portrayed as being unhinged whether we do anything or not.
Unless there is some footage of this incident I don't believe it happened.
Why do they expect special treatment/protections from the people that pay their wages?
The entire system is assbackwards and that is part of how we have gotten here.
This peckerwood could have put this bill through regardless of what happened.
By his logic we will be left without shit for rights.
Example- One "unhinged" showed up at his house and all those who didn't are fucked.
That is total horseshit.
POS never had any intention of getting it through and found his scape goat.
Now this is a story I can believe.^^^

You're responsible for your past. If you have a problem with people ringing your doorbell, move somewhere that's much more difficult to get to. And you can answer, or not, anyway you choose. It's your house.

Again, he's an elected public official. Like you, he chose his poison and I hope both of you thought it through before you made that decision. There just might be some ramifications. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best is always my advice.

IF you own a gun, you're a whack job according to 'them'. Don't kid yourself into believing the general public at large sees any difference between McNutty and you or I. Shit, I've interacted with some of you long enough here to clearly see McNutty is saner than more than just a couple of you derelicts. ?

Also, when someone rings my doorbell and I don't feel like talking to anyone, I don't answer the door. They usually go away soon. Cameras are extremely cheap and reliable too.

Yeah, you show up on my door step and scare the hell out of my wife, and kids, we ain't gonna be friends.
Thing is, everything is so polarized both left, and right. There are nuts on the left, and there are nuts on the right. IME, please and thank you, and civility get you further down the road. You come at me and beat me over the head with something your likely to get an unpleasant response.
Of course thats an over simplification of things, but I'll state it again, you come at my wife and kids we gonna have a problem. Whether we agree on certain things or not.

When is he up for re-election?

Vote him out.

I have run for office.

I have been elected.

I have always said "You can't vote someone 'out' of office! You have to vote someone 'into' office."

If nobody runs for the position, the individual that is there now - wins by a landslide. All they have to do is vote for themselves. They win and everybody that did not run - lose.

I wouldn't change a thing about my past, and I'm not moving anywhere. As for having a problem with someone ringing my doorbell, like I said, they will be the one's not happy with the response they get. The man has an office, and that is where this should have occurred, not at his home. I didn't like it when they did this to Tucker Carlson, and I don't like it this time either. Have a problem with a person, take it up with them at their office, leave their family out of it. Hell, even the mob doesn't do "things" at a person's home.....
