The absolute best 10/22 mag release

The absolute best mag release is the new one just released by Nordic Components, it works with one finger!
I'm seriously impressed, this thing works like the original SHOULD have, if you're shopping check it out.

I got one of these for free when they first came out (I was quick on a reply to a post from them on rfc). Gave it to a buddy, he likes it on his arch angel build.

I have a KIDD of similar design, but the lever on mine goes further back and hangs closer to the trigger guard, kinda like the lever on a Ruger No. 1.


I like both designs. Between using one of these, and doing the auto bolt release mod, the functionality of the rifle improves greatly, and makes it much easier for my kids (9 and 6) to work the action, change mags, etc.

I've got a couple made by TacSol. They are a bit longer, they work great.

I have the Tacsol too and I like them, but the Nordic works quicker and requires no movement of the shooting grip

I am pretty happy with the original.
Very unhappy with anything the interfers with the bolt hold back.
Down right hostile at *%# )$@@ drop your mag in the mud levers.
