Movie Theater The American

Wow this movie had a lot of holes. First off I can't figure out what the plot was or why the main character was being hunted. Did I miss something? All I saw was a dude that built a suppressed sniper rifle for a woman who tries to kill him with it.......I'm going to watch it again to try and figure out if I missed a key point.

OK different topic...How the hell did you find that? I must be using the search function wrong. When I type The American in the search I come up with a bunch of unrelated posts. Anything with those 2 words comes up.......???????
